Three things Heat does right IVT SHOULD PAY ATTENTION TO! Where on one side you have only 8 players, no adversarial forces, and net code that is absolute on the other you have 16 players, interactivity amongst players, and adversarial cops trying to impede your progress. The most important thing Heat has over TC2 though: A N INTERACTIVE MULTIPLAYER ENVIRONMENT!!! Cops, 16 players, and interactive events. While detailed and expansive, it suffers from the same problem as TC2 being empty, especially on the roads. Arguably its TC2, but even with the entire USA, it still feels empty. Given that, the environments of Heat and TC2 are both special. Heat is still geared towards younger players, so everything is made easier to keep the kiddies happy and not complain. Like TC2, it is also an arcade racer but TC2's handling is better than NFS: Heat. One could argue it also takes a few good mechanics from OG Most Wanted as well. To simplify, it's a nice mixture of 2015 and Payback. I've actually been following as much as I can about NFS: Heat. I suggest they play heat to form better ideas. Copy and pasting of empty open worlds and loot boxes does get repetitively old. If there is a Crew 3 I hope this is in the mix of Ubisoft wanting to focus on quality in its future games like Ghost Recon and The Division.

It was a nice ride for The Crew series but I think it ends here. I’ll sacrifice boats, sadly bikes, and planes for the quality that’s here. The Crew mechanics in Heat gives you that option to see the avatar and car. The cops gives you that adrenaline pump to not be busted and sometimes random players assist. The open world in Heat has activities almost everywhere, visuals are better, and has a decent sized open world that’s just right. The Crew 2 showed me it pushed for quantity not quality.
The Crew 2 offers more motor vehicles and has the biggest open world. Everything is so colorful and texture is put to good use.Įnding. Tried to with a Mini Cooper like I was able to do in TC1 street races. I can be a underdog, pull out a muscle, tune the handling, and compete. I don’t always have to use the latest car to compete with the top cars. After playing heat the handles and drifts is far better. I see why some players here miss the handling. You can change the sound of your cars too. Speaking of cosmetics the avatars in NFS is astounding when it comes to customization. I’m happy you can use money to buy parts(something I forgot in my racing days), cars, and cosmetics. Instead of winning races to easily unlock things. For one thing the followers in the crew 2 seem weird. So far I see it beats the crew 2 in many ways. The cops are a little aggressive after a certain Heat. The game still has some improvements such as make a 16 player multiplayer lobby. Once most finished grinding the crew vs crew will be lit. You can also join a crew or make a crew up to 32 players. The game is up to 16 players and you can party up to 8 players. Meaning you have to explore which helps you see players interact more in the open world. The open world has a lot of activities and the night time gives less fast travel. In fact it’s funny seeing players get chase by cops, exploring, and seeing them racing. The open world is live with both Ai and players. The Graphics are superb during day but way better at night. Heat really brings me back to why I like a racing game. The last NFS I like was the OG Most Wanted. Beyond the reviews I heard this game is great.

I’ll probably check out the update in November but it’s not a update that will let me play right away or long.
All in all I enjoyed TC2 during launch but it’s missing a lot of PvP modes and excitement like Crew vs Crew from The Crew 1. Seeing up to 7 players if that gives no activities to do anything with them. I feel like the open world is empty for the PvE. I probably play TC2 maybe once every 2 weeks if that.
